Paving Stone
- Quantity
- 36 pcs per press
- Capacity
- 1000 m² in 8 hours
These machines operate on a hydraulic system within a pressure range of 120-150 bar. This machine produces 15 Pcs of blocks of size 20×40×20 cm and 36 Pcs of paving stones in each pressing cycle. Wooden pallets are used for production.
The concrete is pressed into the molds and then pressed onto the pallets. Products produced in the same manner are left to dry on the production wooden pallets.
The control panel developed by CONSTMACH engineers ensures ease of machine operation through sensors. The automation system allows for daily production storage. The control panel is user-friendly and provides the necessary timing for different types of blocks and paving stones.

The following sections summarise the products, materials, capacity and equipment associated with the CONSTMACH BS-36 fully automatic concrete block making machine, and explain its position within the BS series.
The BS-36 forms hollow concrete blocks and concrete paving stones as standard, producing 15 hollow blocks of 20x40x20 cm and 36 paving stones in each pressing cycle. With a mould change the same press can produce interlocking pavers, solid blocks and other precast concrete units. The products a plant can offer are defined by its mould inventory.
The machine uses a semi-dry, low-slump concrete mix.
The BS-36 forms 15 hollow blocks and 36 paving stones per cycle, more than the BS-30, on the larger pallet format used by the upper models of the series. The exact pallet dimensions and hourly rate for a given configuration should be confirmed against the manufacturer specification sheet, since output depends on the product, the mix and the mould fitted.
The BS-36 is fully automatic and is run from a PLC-based control panel developed by CONSTMACH engineers. The operator selects automatic or manual mode, recalls stored timing settings, and can stop and resume the cycle from the point at which it was halted. A dry product cubing robot is available to automate handling of the cured units.
Each product is defined by its mould box and pressing head. Switching between hollow blocks, paving stones and other units is done by changing the mould and selecting the matching timing recipe in the control system. The number of moulds held determines the variety of products the line can make.
The press forms part of a complete block plant.
The BS-36 is one of the larger models in the series, below only the BS-42. The model number reflects the number of paving stones formed per cycle, so capacity rises from 30 on the BS-30 to 36 on the BS-36 and 42 on the BS-42, accompanied by larger pallets and higher installed power. Selection is governed mainly by required output and pallet footprint.
