CONSTMACH Mobile 100 Concrete Batching Plant Ready for Rwanda

AuthorConstmachPublishedJanuary 14, 2025Constmach is pleased to announce that its Mobile 100 concrete batching plant is ready for shipment to Rwanda. This modern and efficient plant is built to deliver high-quality concrete with the flexibility that growing infrastructure work demands, supporting the customer with a reliable, transportable solution well suited to the needs of large-scale projects across the region.
Supporting Infrastructure in Rwanda
Rwanda's expanding infrastructure programme calls for dependable concrete production that can keep pace with active development. The Mobile 100 is designed to meet this need, offering substantial output combined with the mobility to serve projects in different locations. For the customer, this means a plant capable of supporting roads, buildings and other works central to the country's continued growth.
Powerful 2 m³ Twin-Shaft Mixer
The plant includes a 2 m³ twin-shaft mixer to ensure high-quality concrete mixing. Twin-shaft mixers are known for their thorough, homogeneous mixing action, handling demanding mixes while maintaining batch-to-batch consistency. This gives the customer in Rwanda confidence that the plant will deliver concrete meeting the standards required for durable, high-performance construction across a range of applications.
High 100 m³/h Production Capacity
With a production capacity of 100 m³ per hour, the Mobile 100 is ideal for large-scale projects where high performance and mobility are both required. This output allows contractors to supply major pours and keep multiple work fronts active without supply interruptions. Reliable, high-volume production is a key advantage on the ambitious projects driving Rwanda's development.
Advanced Automation and Easy Control
Equipped with advanced automation systems and user-friendly controls, the Mobile 100 offers seamless operation and precise production. The intuitive control system makes the batching sequence easy to manage and helps maintain accuracy from one batch to the next. This reduces the scope for error and allows a small, well-trained team to keep the plant producing consistent, high-quality concrete.
Portable Design for Flexible Deployment
The plant's portable design makes it easy to transport and install, an excellent choice for projects that require temporary setup or frequent relocation. The operator can mobilise the plant quickly and move it as work shifts between sites, keeping production close to where it is needed. This flexibility is especially valuable across Rwanda's varied and developing project landscape.
Advancing Development Across Africa
Constmach is proud to continue delivering innovative solutions that meet the diverse needs of customers around the world. This latest delivery to Rwanda marks another step forward in supporting infrastructure development across Africa, reinforcing the company's commitment to supplying dependable, high-quality plants and the after-sales support that helps customers succeed.

What Are the Components of an Asphalt Plant? What Do They Do?
An asphalt plant consists of cold feed bins that dose the aggregate, a burner-fired drying drum that dries and heats it, a hot elevator and screen that lift and separate the hot material, weigh hoppers and a twin-shaft mixer that blend it with bitumen and mineral filler, heated bitumen tanks and a filler silo that supply those binders, a baghouse that captures dust, a storage silo that holds the finished mix, and a control cabin that manages the whole plant.

What Is an Asphalt Plant? How Does It Work Step by Step?
An asphalt plant is an industrial facility that dries and heats aggregates, then blends them with bitumen and mineral filler in precise proportions to produce hot mix asphalt (HMA). The process runs step by step: cold feed dosing, drying in a burner-fired drum, screening and weighing, mixing, and finally storage or truck load-out. Mixing takes place at roughly 140-180°C, and plants are built as batch (discrete) or drum (continuous) types.
