CONSTMACH Mobile 60 Concrete Batching Plant Commissioned in Romania

AuthorConstmachPublishedSeptember 08, 2021Constmach has taken its Mobile 60 mobile concrete plant into operation for a customer in Romania, adding another reliable reference to the company's growing presence in the country. This is the second Constmach plant exported to Romania, reflecting steadily building confidence in the company's production technology.
Building a Presence in Romania
As the second Constmach plant for the Romanian market, this Mobile 60 marks an important step in the company's expansion there. Repeat business is the clearest sign of customer satisfaction, and it brings practical benefits too: familiar equipment, straightforward training and dependable access to spare parts and service support across the region.
Flexible Mid-Capacity Output
The Mobile 60 offers a practical 60 m³/h class output combined with full mobility, allowing the customer to bring concrete production directly to the work site. This flexibility is valuable for contractors who move between projects or need to set up quickly in new locations, reducing reliance on external ready-mix supply and improving control over timing and cost.
High-Quality Twin-Shaft Mixing
The plant is built around a 1500/1000 CTS-1 twin-shaft mixer, delivering intensive, homogeneous mixing and consistent concrete quality. The twin-shaft design is valued for its durability and thorough mixing action, ensuring the plant produces concrete to specification batch after batch, even under continuous operation.
Flexible Cement Storage
Cement supply is handled by a combination of internal and external silos, including a 30-tonne internal silo and a 75-tonne bolted external silo. This arrangement gives the operator both compact, integrated storage and substantial bulk capacity, providing flexibility to match cement supply to production needs across different projects.
Installed, Tested and Handed Over
Constmach completed the project as a full turnkey delivery: the plant was installed, trial production was carried out, and the customer's operator was trained to run it properly. This careful commissioning ensures the Mobile 60 performs to specification from the first batch and that the team can maintain quality and output independently.
Supporting Romania's Development
This commissioning reflects Constmach's commitment to supporting Romania's construction sector with reliable, well-matched equipment. The company manages each project from manufacturing and shipment through to installation and start-up. Constmach wishes its client a successful business and looks forward to supporting further projects across Romania.
Supporting Romania's Expansion
Romania's construction sector continues to grow, and a flexible, mid-capacity plant like the Mobile 60 is well suited to the varied projects driving that expansion. By producing concrete directly on site and relocating as work demands, the customer gains control over quality, cost and timing. As one of Constmach's early plants in the country, this installation also lays the groundwork for a lasting partnership, supported by the company's dependable service and growing regional presence.

What Are the Components of an Asphalt Plant? What Do They Do?
An asphalt plant consists of cold feed bins that dose the aggregate, a burner-fired drying drum that dries and heats it, a hot elevator and screen that lift and separate the hot material, weigh hoppers and a twin-shaft mixer that blend it with bitumen and mineral filler, heated bitumen tanks and a filler silo that supply those binders, a baghouse that captures dust, a storage silo that holds the finished mix, and a control cabin that manages the whole plant.

What Is an Asphalt Plant? How Does It Work Step by Step?
An asphalt plant is an industrial facility that dries and heats aggregates, then blends them with bitumen and mineral filler in precise proportions to produce hot mix asphalt (HMA). The process runs step by step: cold feed dosing, drying in a burner-fired drum, screening and weighing, mixing, and finally storage or truck load-out. Mixing takes place at roughly 140-180°C, and plants are built as batch (discrete) or drum (continuous) types.
