CONSTMACH Mobile 120 Concrete Batching Plant Commissioned in France

AuthorConstmachPublishedJuly 14, 2019Constmach has taken its Mobile 120 mobile concrete batching plant into operation for a customer in France, the sixth Constmach concrete plant commissioned in the country. Equipped with a 4.500/3.000 litre CTS-3 twin-shaft mixer and a 100-tonne external cement silo, the plant is now producing concrete, with two further installations already planned for the French market in the near future.
A Growing Track Record in France
This commissioning marks Constmach's sixth concrete plant in France, a clear sign of the trust the company has earned among French contractors. Repeat business and a steady pipeline of new orders reflect both the quality of the equipment and the support that accompanies it. With two more plants set to follow, Constmach continues to strengthen its position in one of Western Europe's most demanding construction markets.
Powerful Twin-Shaft Mixing
At the heart of the plant is a 4.500/3.000 litre CTS-3 twin-shaft mixer, a high-capacity unit built for intensive concrete production. Twin-shaft mixers are valued for their fast, thorough mixing action, producing homogeneous concrete batch after batch. This large mixer allows the French customer to meet substantial volume requirements while maintaining the consistency expected on major construction and infrastructure projects.
Ample Cement Storage
The plant is supported by a 100-tonne external cement silo, providing generous on-site storage to keep production running through busy periods. Sufficient cement capacity reduces the frequency of deliveries and helps the operator maintain an uninterrupted workflow. Matched to the output of the Mobile 120, the silo ensures a steady supply of binder throughout the working day.
Mobility Without Compromise
As a mobile plant, the Mobile 120 combines high productivity with the flexibility to be transported and set up at successive sites. This is a significant benefit for contractors who move between projects, allowing them to bring substantial batching capacity directly to where it is needed. Quick mobilisation and straightforward installation reduce downtime and keep projects on schedule.
Reliability for Demanding Work
French construction projects place high demands on equipment, and the Mobile 120 is built to meet them. Robust construction and full automation give the customer dependable, repeatable performance with precise control over each batch. This reliability helps maintain quality standards while keeping operating teams lean and efficient over years of continuous use.
Continued Expansion in Europe
With this sixth plant now operating and more on the way, Constmach reaffirms its commitment to the French and wider European markets. The company looks forward to a long and successful partnership with its customer, supplying high-quality batching equipment backed by experienced supervision and responsive after-sales service for many years to come.

What Are the Components of an Asphalt Plant? What Do They Do?
An asphalt plant consists of cold feed bins that dose the aggregate, a burner-fired drying drum that dries and heats it, a hot elevator and screen that lift and separate the hot material, weigh hoppers and a twin-shaft mixer that blend it with bitumen and mineral filler, heated bitumen tanks and a filler silo that supply those binders, a baghouse that captures dust, a storage silo that holds the finished mix, and a control cabin that manages the whole plant.

What Is an Asphalt Plant? How Does It Work Step by Step?
An asphalt plant is an industrial facility that dries and heats aggregates, then blends them with bitumen and mineral filler in precise proportions to produce hot mix asphalt (HMA). The process runs step by step: cold feed dosing, drying in a burner-fired drum, screening and weighing, mixing, and finally storage or truck load-out. Mixing takes place at roughly 140-180°C, and plants are built as batch (discrete) or drum (continuous) types.
