CONSTMACH JS-2 Mobile Crushing Plant Commissioned in Oman

AuthorConstmachPublishedMay 30, 2019Constmach has taken its JS-2 mobile crushing plant into operation for a customer in the Sultanate of Oman — the company's fifth working plant in the country. Built on a twin-chassis platform and fully automatic, the JS-2 brings a complete, two-stage hard-stone crushing line to a mobile, on-site solution ready to produce quality aggregate.
A Fifth Plant in Oman
Reaching a fifth working plant in the Sultanate of Oman is a strong testament to the trust Omani customers place in Constmach technology. Repeat business on this scale reflects consistent, dependable performance over time, and it brings practical benefits too — familiar equipment, straightforward operation and reliable access to spare parts and service support across the region.
A Two-Chassis Crushing Line
The JS-2 is built on double chassis, allowing a complete crushing line to be transported and deployed with ease. The first chassis carries a feeding hopper and the primary jaw crusher, while the second houses the secondary crusher, vibrating screen and stock conveyors. This arrangement lets the plant operate as one coordinated system yet still be moved between sites in manageable, road-legal loads.
Powerful Two-Stage Crushing
Primary crushing is handled by a CJC-90 jaw crusher, which breaks down large feed material into manageable sizes. The second stage uses a CSI-1212 secondary crusher to refine the aggregate further, improving both capacity and particle shape. Together these stages produce well-graded, quality material suitable for concrete, asphalt and general construction applications.
Accurate Screening and Stockpiling
A CVS-1850 vibrating screen classifies the crushed material into precise size fractions, while integrated stock conveyors build organised stockpiles of finished product. This combination ensures the customer can produce several accurately sized products in a single, continuous flow, maximising the value extracted from each tonne of feed and keeping the operation efficient.
Automatic Operation and Dust Control
The system is fully automatic, simplifying operation and ensuring consistent results, and it is equipped with a dust suppression system that controls dust at the crushing and screening points. This improves working conditions for operators and reduces the plant's environmental impact, reflecting Constmach's attention to safe, responsible operation alongside strong productivity.
Installed, Tested and Handed Over
Constmach completed the project as a full turnkey delivery: the plant was installed, trial production was carried out, and the customer's operator was trained to run it properly. This careful commissioning ensures the JS-2 performs to specification from the outset. Constmach wishes its client a successful business and looks forward to continuing to support Oman's construction sector.

What Are the Components of an Asphalt Plant? What Do They Do?
An asphalt plant consists of cold feed bins that dose the aggregate, a burner-fired drying drum that dries and heats it, a hot elevator and screen that lift and separate the hot material, weigh hoppers and a twin-shaft mixer that blend it with bitumen and mineral filler, heated bitumen tanks and a filler silo that supply those binders, a baghouse that captures dust, a storage silo that holds the finished mix, and a control cabin that manages the whole plant.

What Is an Asphalt Plant? How Does It Work Step by Step?
An asphalt plant is an industrial facility that dries and heats aggregates, then blends them with bitumen and mineral filler in precise proportions to produce hot mix asphalt (HMA). The process runs step by step: cold feed dosing, drying in a burner-fired drum, screening and weighing, mixing, and finally storage or truck load-out. Mixing takes place at roughly 140-180°C, and plants are built as batch (discrete) or drum (continuous) types.
