CONSTMACH Compact 60 Concrete Batching Plant Commissioned in Romania

AuthorConstmachPublishedJune 03, 2019Constmach has taken its Compact 60 compact-type concrete plant into operation for a customer in Romania — the second Constmach concrete plant commissioned in the country, with two more installations already planned. Fully galvanized for durability, the plant offers reliable, space-efficient concrete production built to last.
A Fully Galvanized, Durable Plant
A standout feature of this Compact 60 is that it is completely galvanized, giving the steel structure excellent protection against corrosion. Galvanizing significantly extends the plant's service life, especially in outdoor and exposed conditions, and reduces maintenance over time. For the customer in Romania, this means a durable, long-lasting investment that retains its value and reliability for years.
Growing Presence in Romania
As the second commissioned plant in Romania, with more on the way, this installation is part of a clear pattern of repeat business. Each successful project strengthens Constmach's reference base in the country and reflects the consistent results customers achieve with its equipment, supported by dependable local service.
High-Quality Twin-Shaft Mixing
The plant is built around a 1500/1000 twin-shaft mixer, delivering intensive, homogeneous mixing and consistent concrete quality. The twin-shaft design is valued for its durability and thorough mixing action, ensuring the plant produces concrete to specification batch after batch, even under continuous operation.
Dependable Cement Storage
Cement supply is handled by a 100-tonne cement silo, providing substantial on-site storage for continuous production. Generous silo capacity allows the operator to keep the plant running through busy periods without frequent deliveries, supporting smooth, efficient operation across larger pours and demanding schedules.
Installed, Tested and Handed Over
Constmach completed the project as a full turnkey delivery: the plant was installed, trial production was carried out, and the customer's operator was trained to run it properly. This careful commissioning ensures the Compact 60 performs to specification from the outset and that the team can maintain quality and output independently.
Supporting Romania's Construction Sector
This commissioning reinforces Constmach's growing presence in Romania and its commitment to delivering reliable, durable equipment. The galvanized, compact design suits demanding conditions and space-conscious sites alike. Constmach wishes its client a successful business and looks forward to completing the additional Romanian installations already planned.
Engineered to Last in Romanian Conditions
Because this Compact 60 is fully galvanized, it is exceptionally well protected against the corrosion that can shorten the life of outdoor plants. This durability translates into lower maintenance, less downtime and a longer working life, giving the Romanian customer strong, lasting value from the investment. Combined with the plant's compact footprint and dependable twin-shaft mixing, it offers a practical, low-risk route to consistent concrete production that will continue to perform reliably across many seasons of demanding use.

What Are the Components of an Asphalt Plant? What Do They Do?
An asphalt plant consists of cold feed bins that dose the aggregate, a burner-fired drying drum that dries and heats it, a hot elevator and screen that lift and separate the hot material, weigh hoppers and a twin-shaft mixer that blend it with bitumen and mineral filler, heated bitumen tanks and a filler silo that supply those binders, a baghouse that captures dust, a storage silo that holds the finished mix, and a control cabin that manages the whole plant.

What Is an Asphalt Plant? How Does It Work Step by Step?
An asphalt plant is an industrial facility that dries and heats aggregates, then blends them with bitumen and mineral filler in precise proportions to produce hot mix asphalt (HMA). The process runs step by step: cold feed dosing, drying in a burner-fired drum, screening and weighing, mixing, and finally storage or truck load-out. Mixing takes place at roughly 140-180°C, and plants are built as batch (discrete) or drum (continuous) types.
